Nominations & Elections Committee
The Nominations and Elections Committee, a standing committee of the ANA Membership Assembly, is comprised of seven members Constituent and State Nurses Association (C/SNA) or the Individual Member Division (IMD) elected by the ANA Membership Assembly.

New - 2024 Call for Nominations for Elected Positions
On December 1, 2023, the ANA Nominations and Elections Committee issued a Call for Nominations for a slate of candidates to be presented to the Membership Assembly in 2024 for election to national office. The deadline to apply via the online form is 11:59pm ET, Wednesday, January 17, 2024. See the Call for Nominations for the application link. Review of the election resources below prior to starting an application is highly recommended.
ANA Board of Directors
Two (2) Officers:
- President
- Secretary
Three (3) Directors-At-Large:
- Two (2) Directors-at-Large
- One (1) Director-at-Large, Staff Nurse*
*A staff nurse is defined as one who is nonsupervisory, non-managerial, and includes one or more of the following: (a) is employed by a health care institution or agency; (b) whose primary role is a provider of direct patient care; (c) who is collective bargaining eligible under applicable labor law.

The term of service for all positions is January 1, 2025 – December 31, 2026.
